The original teak deck on this moody had seen better days . It was worn through in many areas with the screws and fixings showing through the deck. It was beyond repair and it was decided to replace with Flexiteek. After deliberating the choices in colours the owners decided to go with the scrubbed effect with grey caulking. This colour choice transformed the boat and gave a modern and up to date look.

Nathan organised the full stripping of old teak from our boat and its replacement with Flexiteek at the end of 2022. His company also undertook renovation of our stanchions and creation of two deck access gates as well as some copper coat work on the hull. All the work was carried out to a high standard and in the time estimated by Nathan, with no hidden costs or unwelcome surprises. Very importantly, Nathan is a great communicator and keeps you informed of progress, which is very reassuring, especially on a big project. He has a large network of colleagues in other fields such as rigging and electrical specialists whom he can call upon as required. The results are beautiful and we believe they have added considerable value to our boat.
